I like the color, but if you hadn't shown it I would have said that the B&W gives this photo a look of an art photo that was taken back when there only was B&W...

Like the color photo best. Really a unique area.
ReplyDeleteLoved your Smoky Mtn skies in your previous post too.
I go for the monochrome - very fine structures.
ReplyDeleteBoth recordings are well done.
ReplyDeleteBlack and white
especially interesting !
Greetings from Germany
I agree - this shot works really well in both version. I have to admit to a slight preference for the colour image, though!
ReplyDeleteYes, I like them both. The black and white gives a nice feeling of age.
ReplyDeleteGreat post, I prefer the one in B&W!
ReplyDeleteI like this feeling I got when I look into the photo. Great work.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful both ways!
ReplyDeleteI like them both! Looking at the little houses I cannot even start to imagine how hard a life it must have been.
ReplyDeleteBoth versions of the photo are good, but I like the b&w on better. It has more character.
ReplyDeleteI think I like the B&W version best... the details and textures comes out so clearly!
ReplyDelete:)

ReplyDeleteIt is a place I would like to be and the black and white image is great!
ReplyDeleteWonderful work of art, especially in B & W!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the B&W version! Great structures!
ReplyDeleteI think the black and white brings out the structure of the trees against the sky

I think I prefer the B&W - the delicate branches stand out more.
ReplyDeleteI like them both very much - but the black and white is my favourite - i like the rustic quality feeling of nostalgia.
ReplyDeleteOn this occasion I like the colour best - but it's interesting to compare.
ReplyDeleteAlthough both are lovely, the black and white stands out! Thanks so much for sharing.
