I think that looks like a little ice flower in the azalea. Buds beckon for spring and fortunately I think they are small enough to brave the extreme cold. Click for the home of Today's Flowers.
A beautiful little ice flower! Are those pussy willow buds? Be still my heart. (It is soon going to be time for me to be terribly jealous of your spring flowers isn't it?)
Thank you so much for your comments. I read and appreciate any and all comments. If I delete a comment it is only because I'm trying to deal with a lot of spam. If I delete a comment which isn't spam, it's an accident so please accept my apology.
NOTE - I have recently had issues where some comments don't show up in my blog but I am receiving all of them through email. The blooger hiccup seems to be fixed but I'm going to leave this note up so I don't jinx it.
Seems like spring is coming slowly!
ReplyDeleteHave a happy weekend!
The ice is beautiful. Enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing these Carver, beautiful photos as always. Roll on Spring!
ReplyDeleteHopefully the ice didn't do too much damage....it is lovely though!

Hi Carver, haven't been here in awhile.
ReplyDeleteLove that second photo with the cold buds against the lovely blue sky!
