Monochrome Monday: More of the fixer upper

I decided to show you more of the house which I'd love to fix up (in my dreams), and which I showed the front porch detail on for last weeks Monochrome shot. I took these shots at the end of the summer of 2008 when the leaves were still on the trees.

For more monochrome shots, please visit the home of Monochrome Monday.

  1. I like the refection of the trees in the window of the first photo.

  2. I noted the reflection too, very delicate. I could wander around here all day with the camera. So many angles.

  3. This house looks vaguely familiar... I'm thinking Lynn or Lead Mine road maybe? Needs a lot of work, but it seems viable enough.

  7. It is a very fine looking place but I imagine there has to be a lot of wood to replace in these older ones. It is a style of building totallt foreign in our part of the world.

  8. I love the detail on the gable and the porch is to die for. I can understand why you daydream about this house. ;-)
