Since today is Memorial Day in the United States, Bill and I went to Wilmington, NC which is about 2 hours from where we live, and visited the USS NC Memorial, (you can click that link for more information). I took a bunch of shots on the ship but I figured this would do for now, since I just got home. The first shot is of the guns at the top of the pic pointing at the signal flags and sky. I hope everyone had a great weekend and Happy Memorial Day!

Great shots from the battleship. Memorial Day is without a doubt one of the most important holidays, just like Remembrance day is here in Canada.
