That's My World: Memorial Day at USS NC memorial

Since today is Memorial Day in the United States, Bill and I went to Wilmington, NC which is about 2 hours from where we live, and visited the USS NC Memorial, (you can click that link for more information). I took a bunch of shots on the ship but I figured this would do for now, since I just got home. The first shot is of the guns at the top of the pic pointing at the signal flags and sky. I hope everyone had a great weekend and Happy Memorial Day!

  1. Great shots from the battleship. Memorial Day is without a doubt one of the most important holidays, just like Remembrance day is here in Canada.

    Have a great week.

  13. Very impressive shots on your memorial day! My father sailed during the entire WWII, together with Americans, British and other allies. He lost many of his colleagues and friends by German and Japanese submarine attacks. Thanks for sharing.
