SkyWatch Friday: Some of the many sky shots I took this week




I have been shooting the sky a lot this week. I was shooting clouds when I spotted the moon.


I thought the shot above looked like a cross between a friendly alligator and a dog.


The whispy clouds below remind me of sheer fabric.

    I see Doggy Gator!

    Was that orange sunset from Monday? I chased that thing all the way to Durham trying to find a spot where I could see it, but the trees kept getting in the way! Never did get it. (But the stuff I brought home from Lake Crabtree made up for it... with interest.)

    The clouds have certainly been plentiful -- and interesting -- this week. Love what you've done with 'em!

    interesting captures. The one is really orange and like fire. the other is very clear and vivid. the crocs is cute and the moon is great!

    I love the shot of the moon in the deep blue sky with the clouds. It's always special to see the moon during daytime.
    The structures in the clouds at your last picture are wonderful.
