The Weekend in Black and White: Glade Creek Grist Mill


I took the shot below on Wednesday morning at the end of a vacation to West Virginia. The Grist Mill is at Babcock State Park.

    The old mill is really neat with a cool bridge leading you to it. The fog add mystery. Nice!

    The mill has an archaic look, aided by the surrounding mist. Lovely composition.

    We were going to the cranberry bogs in WV today, but think we are going to opt for cleaning out the barn...and that will be a job. Love the little mill with its wheel and bridge. A fine capture.
