That's My World Tuesday: Bridges bridges and more bridges

When I was in West Virginia I photographed a lot of different bridges.

The ones in this post are by no means all of them but they are a fair sampling.

I've already posted some shots of the bridge above and below but wanted to include these to put it into context. It's a very long bridge but most of the shots I used before only showed the arch below or a section of the longer part shown above, without the arch.

The challenge with the bridge below was trying to photograph the other bridge through its steel.

Not a great shot but it's gives an idea of how many bridges there are in close proximity to each other.

I did the same thing with the next bridge in that I photographed another through it's steel.

Below is a section of the bridge I caught as we whizzed along on the bridge above.

The next shot gives some perspective on what I was attempting.

I have a particular fondness for foot bridges.

They can be anything from a few rocks to hop across to something more involved like the one shown above and below.

  1. I also love footbridges, Carver! Rocky bridges are great because they’re often down low and it’s easy to get your feet wet. :)
