The Weekend in Black and White: Cone Manor and Carriage House

I played around with different angles when shooting the Moses H. Cone Manor in Blowing Rock, NC on Tuesday.

The first two shots were taken on the same side.

I took the next shot on the other side.

Then I took a full front view shot.

To tell you the truth, given the choice, I'd just as soon live in the Cone Carriage House. The shot below is a back view of the Carriage House.

  13. house of the rich and famous. I wonder how many maids and grounds men they needed to keep it at such pristine condition.
