  2. WOW!! What a great shot in black and white. I am assuming the sun made it out in all of its glory. This shot is stunning, and the monochrome mediums perfect for it. genie

  9. Carver...Thanks so much for the note. I know 2 couples just like you all, and it is wonderful. They get along perfectly divorced and are together all the time...but it was not that way when they were married. Life really does take some interesting twists and turns. My second marriage was such a gamble because of the big age difference. Now I fret and stew that I am a drain on Bud because of my back problems, and the other problems that come with aging. It does not seem to phase him. He helps me in every way he can. I feel so lucky. My boys are very close to him, and this Saturday we are going to have the treat of having both of them here for 2 days. My middle child - son - is flying in from Seattle, for business in DC and NYC so he is going to rent a car and come home. His brother will bring my precious little Eloise and be here from Richmond at the same time. I cannot wait. Will take off from work on Monday. This summer we are all planning to flu to Portland and then drive to Seattle for a long overdue visit to the Pacific Northwest. genie

  10. I've been trying to work out the figures. There appears to be someone paddling out to meet a giant bird. It makes the contrast between sky and water intriguing.
