ABC Wednesday: B is for Boat

Boy's bouncing board boat.

In the next shot, it looks like another board boater is walking on water because his boat is beneath the water. Beyond him is a fishing boat.

Below is a better look at one of the fishing boats on the water.

Big barge boat with little boat bearing to the right of it.

Below it almost looks like one boat but it's two.

Next are the same two boats as the shot above but you can see it's two kayaks not one boat with two people. The boats looks like they are beneath the water.

There are three boats below. Two sailboats, although the sails aren't raised, and one boat that looks like it's probably a small motor boat of some kind or perhaps a row boat.

Below is another kayak boat person.

Finally one last fishing boat close to shore.

  4. Beautiful photos of all the boats. For myself, I prefer the larger variety, like cruise ships! Hah! I'd never go kayaking in waves like those, either. lol

  14. Wow! This would make a great conceptual book for a child-you know, below, beneath, etc.! Cool approach!

  16. These boat shots are great. Those board boats look like they can be challenging. I have wondered if they are comfortable at all.

    Love that beach!

  17. I'll have to make sure I have a life vest on if I went kayaking. My inability to swim does not curb my interest in the activity. It looks so tempting.

  25. I'm particularly intrigued by the standing surfers. I've seen them at our beach, but don't know if I have the lack of self consciousness required to try it myself.

Oh, and Begonia Pope thanks you for your visit.

  26. Wonderful post! Boats powered by human energy would be second (after bicycles) on my preferred transportation list. Your varied perspectives brought humour and mystery to your lovely photos.
