The beach water towers invariably have an aquatic theme.
There were a number of military helicopters flying over the ocean when I was there.
I suppose that's is because there are military bases near by.
I like the way jets paint the sky with contrails.
I've already posted one seagull and kite shot on another post but here's one with multiple seagulls flying with the kite.
Sometimes I like the distant shots of seagulls that look like a symbol for birds, as opposed to a realistic photograph.

Love the water towers, there's a water tower in Illinois that is a basketball, the small won state many many years ago. I'll have to dig and look for the photo.

ReplyDeleteLovely post! I remember trying to draw those bird symbols. The water towers, jet trails, and seagull-kite shots are all against wonderfully bright blue skies. My favourite seagull is the one just over the kite. They are in parallel motion :)

ReplyDeleteWe have a similar helicopter that comes up the lake near our cabin to practice water rescues. You can hear them working over a mile away. - Margy
