E is for elegant and I think swans have an elegant beauty.
Swans also have elongated necks.
I tried to find a shot I'd taken of swans with bubbling water to use for effervescent but the water was very still in all the shots I could find with a quick look.
Swans are indeed elegant and I could imagine the effervescent photo, even though you didn't find it. I'm hoping the swans in your part of the world are not pinioned, as ours are at Stanley Park in Vancouver.
I hold swans in high Esteem, and agree that they are the Epitome of Elegance! Though you'd wished for Effervescence, I think the tranquility of this water adds to the Elegance of your beautiful photos. I Especially Enjoyed the first one - so beautiful!

They also like to eat, and don't have very good etiquette. Rather grabby, in fact. :)
ReplyDeleteOh I quite agree with all of your adjectives. What a wonderful creation.

ReplyDeleteSwans are certainly among the most elegant of creatures. I'm always reminded of "The Ugly Duckling" story.
