Nature Notes and Our World: First week of September

Summer is winding down and the cardinals are growing up.

There are still signs of immaturity but soon the cardinals will be adults.

Sunday the temperatures were much cooler but the humidity was intense.

The upcoming week is supposed to be cooler than last week which was very hot.

The possibility of storms exists for the first half of the week so glad I got out and walked Sunday morning.

  16. Already the time of year when you have to take advantage of every good weather day!

We are having lovely Indian Summer weather -- and for us the warmest we've been all summer (we are back -- now in Washington State .. I'm a bit behind on blogging (just a bit ;>)

I have loved following your cardinal family as they grow. I hope the winter is kind to them.
