They have model ships in the information center for the USS NC Memorial battleship. It was interesting seeing what the ships looked like starting with the very first ones. I didn't note any information on this one specifically.

That's My World: Memorial Day at USS NC memorial
Since today is Memorial Day in the United States, Bill and I went to Wilmington, NC which is about 2 hours from where we live, and visited the USS NC Memorial, (you can click that link for more information). I took a bunch of shots on the ship but I figured this would do for now, since I just got home. The first shot is of the guns at the top of the pic pointing at the signal flags and sky.
