I have so many winter sky shots I never posted that I thought I'd go with one from January since I'm not very inspired this week.

Deceptively warm looking isn't it? You wouldn't guess it was January to look at it.
Hope your inspiration returns soon, but I like what you do with uninspired!
I love cloud watching, regardless of the weather. There's just something calming about it.
Still fabulous
I love clouds like this. They just make me wanna lay there and stare at them :)
Oh I love photos of just clouds and sky, no trees, no power lines, pure unadulterated sky watch image.
Thanks for this soothing image, Carver.
Have a great day.
It looks soft on the sky:-)
Very captivating!
i like the texture here. in a way it doesn't look like clouds but it is! :)
This is fantastic! Great capture!
I do love these skies, and Mojo is right, it doesn't look like January! Another reason I love it! Lovely capture as always, Carver! And I think I told you before, but I love your header shot! Have a beautiful weekend!
Sylvia
Beautiful shot of the sky.
It looks like cotton. I want to reach up and touch it.

Love your new header!
The sky is nice too.
Looks like the clouds are being shot out of something. Very cool in that stripey pattern, Carver.
That could be one of 'our' skies - beautiful because so comfortably familiar :-)
love the texture of these clouds!
fascinating blue sky...though your not inspired your photo did it for you lol!
I think of sandy beaches and palm trees blowing in the gently breeze, not January. Great clouds.
Beautiful sky. Love the cloud formation.
Love that sky!
Carver: Inspiration comes from with-in. Get out there into your wonderful area of the country and enjoy the trip.
It does not matter when or where it was taken. It is an amazing sky scene.
Is this what's called a mackerel sky? For some reason, I think it's time for a fish fry.
Thanks to everyone for visiting and to answer the question, yes, I think this is a mackerel sky.
Beautiful clouds, - it doesn't seem to matter what the season is, the sky is not particular about what beauty it presents.
The kind of soft puffy clouds that simply make you feel free and like a kid!!
I can hear my kids screaming, "Mom!! It's a sunny day, can we head to the beach!??!? Please pretty please!!!"
Lovely cloudy blue sky...
Supershot! The clouds are just perfectly scattered!
Pixellicious Photos
wow your archive is precious! :)
Léia
Lovely sky. Wish it would look like this here.
I love your soft and fluffy clouds.
We all have some days without inspiration, but luckely there's always the archive. :-)
These clouds look like a puffy burst of powder! Quite serene!
tiny cottons flying on the sky
