I keep thinking one year I'll gather the pecans before the squirrels get them but at best I get a fraction of what the animals get. It's funny how the squirrels sit on my deck table, swing and chairs eating pecans with very little concern about me. This one knew I was taking his picture but he wasn't about to let go of the pecan.

Looks like he beat you to them! A great shot! Now I am craving pecan pie!
well who can blame him...I LOVE pecans too!
Hihi, great shot...;D
Wow, great shot. It's amazing he let you get so close.
Like it! Great shot!
Beautiful photography.
I like your choice for black and white.
Regards and best wishes
Priceless! Such a great expression on his face. He's really enjoying that nut.
You got him, lovely shot ;))
Wow! Simply EXCELLENT!
I'd love to see such animals here... They don't come so often though.
The squirrel's obstinacy with the pecan brought to mind Ice Age's "scrat". :)
God bless you!

Wonderful!
What a fantastic capture! I'm sorry that he beat you to the pecans. He looks quite pleased about it though. :)
A great close up; he appears to be enjoying the nut.
That squirrel knows you're not going to grab that pecan away from him and miss getting this perfect shot!
I remember when we spent a winter in Texas and the pecans were all over in the parks.
