Sunday was the perfect day for a morning walk.
It wasn't too hot and it wasn't too cold but was just right.
I haven't walked as much as I usually do over the past few months.
It has been easy to use the rain as an excuse although we've had plenty of days where part of the day are good for walking.
I always feel better mentally, if not physically, when I walk regularly.
I hate that I missed much of what was going on around the lake during the spring.
Before long it will become too hot for me to be outdoors as much.
If I can get motivated to get out early enough, even in the summer there usually is a window of time for a morning walk. Getting motivated is the problem.

Your world is like a Paradise!!!
A beautiful walk in the Park ... so much to see.
Thank you for the lovely walk and beautiful photos!
Oh, thank you indeed, Carver! What a lovely place to walk! I love it! The shaded paths are so beautiful and, of course, I love the feathered friends, too! Wonderful captures for the day! Hope you have a great week!

What a lovely place to walk, gorgeous scenery. The ducks are cute too, lovely photos.
That lake is so-o-o lovely and you have some wonderful captures here. I love the mallard and the domestic ducks, and the forest shots and blue skies over the lake really back up your point that the weather was "just right." Glad to hear you found the motivation to show us your lake and beautiful surroundings.
You are lucky to see so many birds on your walk.
You and me both Carve. I miss my walks. I got them in when we were travelling but since we've been home it has been difficult to get away and it has been raining and cold. A good walk certainly blows the cobwebs from your mind.
What leafy loveliness and divine blue skies! Nothing as cheering to the soul as a walk in nature.
Lovely captures from your walk.
To be out in the early morning is a joy. I just wish I had the same weather as you to entice me out of bed early enough to go for a walk!
What joy in these photos, the creatures and waterscapes, pure loveliness to look at.
Greetings from Oman!!!! I was just passing by and had to stop to say that I really enjoyed your blog.Have a great day!

How I wish I had a place like this to go walking. Don’t get me wrong. We have beautiful spots all around us, but we just do not have any like this. Lovely captures. genie
I'd love a place like this to walk through.
