Nature Notes: Summer is coming

It's looking more and more like summer but fortunately there are some cool days mixed in with hot ones. I'm not a big fan of hot weather. The bees and butterflies are making a come back in my yard giving me new life to photograph.

I second EG Camera Girl's comment. I like to see more butterflies.

Have a lovely week.

The contrast between the butterfly and the white flowering bush is so beautiful. What a lovely photo. If the weather could stay only stay "late spring" for months I am sure you wouldn't be the only person to be thrilled!

I like your title! And I'm happy that we haven't had any heat waves at all this year. I also look forward to seeing butterflies. Happy to see all the spring flowers.

A beautiful shot my dear. Funny, I snapped a butterfly sunning itself this morning and it is supposedly winter here.

Beautiful photos. We are already into full-blown summer here. The 109-109 temps are killing me! I hate this part of living here so much!

That butterfly looks quite a bit like some I've seen here in Hong Kong! :O
