I'm keeping the post wordless but I thought I'd mention here that the squirrel was clinging to the screen on my window and scared me to death. After I got over the fright I snapped a bunch of photos.
oh I was coming to ask just that! ;-) How funny! Would have scared me too! great catch
Hi Carver,
I'm glad you gave us the explanation. I wondered what the mesh was that I saw in your photo - I thought at first that it might be something you put over your lens. Cool!
Hahahhahaaa...I bet the squirrel got frighten as well :P
Carver,
That is amazing! He held on long enough for you to get his picture? The furry little narcissist! That's a wonderful photo.
I love squirrels. I think they really do know which of our buttons to push.
I thought it was a flying squirrel and you were so lucky to take its picture! Nice shot! I bet it was frightened too. hehe....
tee hee....how funny!
happy WW!
A little bit of whimsy! How cute!
Absolutely incredible, these photos are so beautiful and the squirrel is an amazing moment captured in time.
Beautiful photography.
(I whispered all that :) )
Pam
I was wondering if it fell down & how quick you took the photo is not imaginable.
Great shot!!!
Bravo. happy ww.
great action shot!
What a great shot!
Lucky you it hung so long. :)
Wow! AWESOME shot! I so LOVE it! At first sight it actually looks like it's flying!
Clinging to a screen? Now I never would have thought that - I just thought you happened to catch him jumping from the tree.
That WOULD be creepy to look over and be staring into some beady squirrel eyes. LOL

Thanks for visiting and commenting on my wordless wednesday post.
A flying squirrel! That's what I thought when I saw the pic. I was wondering how fast you were with your camera :)
It's a great shot, Carver, but I would have been scared to death at first too!!
That is a great image! The squirrels around my house just aren't that entertaining.
Carver,
How about that old saying, "A Picture is Worth 1,000 Words"?
or "It goes without saying .. . "
Hmm, I'll think some more . . .
Thanks again to everyone for commenting.
Either of those would work well Dee. I'm probably trying to make it harder than it needs to be.
hehe, this is brilliant!
Lol! I like this photo! Good shot!
Wow, that's an amazing capture. Great timing!
