About Me
- Carver
- My original site, Carver's Sight or is that Site, was inspired by reading the blogs of people who I got to know through the Melanoma Patient's Information Page (MPIP). As time has gone on, I find myself talking as much about gardening, photography, and other random thoughts as I do about melanoma follow up. I am happy about that. I have set up an additional site, Carver Cards, which is primarily a photoblog.

Have you noticed that there appear to be faces on the spikes... ?
Eerie.
Fascinating photo - what an unusual plant.
Fascinating photo of this plant! :)
Climbing something-or-other? Mysterious.
What a strange plant!! ans i suppose i also can see a flwer there...
I like this - it reminds me of the Monolith statue in Oslo's Vigeland Park.
Intriguing. Is it a plant? (It would also been a perfect macro subject ;) Suits the b&wh development.
Thanks to everyone for visiting. The plant is actually a tall seed head, and it's as tall as a small tree. I don't know what the plant is but it really stood out at the edge of the woods.
Very unusual, make's a great mono shot....
Similar looking to what we call Foxgloves, no way near as tall as that though..:-/
The muted sepia wash does add a fascinating layer of intrigue to this eerie image.
Curious plant indeed! Nice shot!
God bless you!
Léia
Fascinating textures created there.
Whats that plant? Nice one in mono.
Reminds me of brussels sprouts!
It does look a fascinating plant, nice mono! :-)
nice monchrome effect
