The sky was blue with barely a whisper of clouds when I walked around Lake Lynn. The sky was dappled above my crepe myrtle tree in my back yard.

Carver,
What a magnificent picture of the wooden walkway around the lake. And the pretty cherry blossoms !
Thanks for sharing.
Ram
the sky and the lake...just lovely. and a wonderful place to walk around. the crepe myrtle is beautiful.
have a good weekend.
Oh you have a lovely summer day for a walk.
That crepe myrtle is really in bloom. I've never seen them grow this large. I was thinking of getting one because the last two that we got didn't survive.
Hello dear friend!
This lake is so beautiful! Adorable sky and I loved the perspective as well!
Greetings from Luxembourg
Léia
Wow your crepe myrtle is in way better voice than mine! That's what I call "full song".
Don't think I've ever been to Lake Lynn... It's not on my usual "loop", so I don't think about it.
Gorgeous shots, Carver, as always! What a great place to walk! And such rich, wonderful colors!
Have a great weekend!
Sylvia
What a fantastic place to walk and with such clear blue skies too.
I recall last year loving your crepe myrtle. This year too.
My garden myrtle has white flowers.
Have a great weekend.
Such beautiful views from this stunning boardwalk!
Happy Skywatching! :-)
Beautiful! That's a great board walk.
Those are both beautiful but the first one is my favorite. Pictures of roads and paths make me wish I could step right into the picture.
hi,
thanks for your visit
here is my favourite the second one with the cute white clouds
bye
What a place Carver, the first picture I just loved...
You never ever dissapoint me with your pictures, so great every time!!
See you in black and white on sunday.
Hugs from Anene in Norway.
Liked that first one very much. That wooden ramp or bridge leading into the distance gave it great depth.
WOW WOW WOW ... WOW
What a lovely boardwalk - I have never seen it before. And the sky is blue and beautiful :) perfect for a walk :)
I love the first shot!!!
Have a great friday :)
Anna
I continue to be envious of your crepe myrtle!
Lake Lynn like you live in a lovely area.
The walkway is one of my favorite of your photos! Beautiful!
Absolutely lovely! Thank you for sharing via Skywatch Friday.
What a great contrast between the blue sky and the dappled one! Very beautiful Carver! Have a great weekend. Fortunately the damage in my house can be repaired!
Just love the first one. The board walk is just so inviting. We don't have crepe myrtle here.
Gorgeous sky - I have the same kind of trees around our apartment complex - we have it in white, red an purple. Love their bloom! Great puffy sky!
What marvelous skies to walk under and return home to.
Great shot of Lake Lynn and I love the boardwalk leading into the photo. The crepe myrtle is gorgeous; I don't think I've seen that tree before.
Wonderful shots, Carver.
I love both of them, because they're so harmonious and peaceful.
Both are lovely sky views! That wooden walkway is most inviting ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
both your images are divine.
Lake Lynn, I'll have to tell my buddy about the name of this lake. She'll be thrilled to know a lake this beautiful carries the same name as her :)
Have a good weekend Carver and thanks!!! :)
Your crepe myrtle tree is looking fine beneath the dappled sky. Looks like you had great weather for your walk around the lake.
Such a beautiful place and
nice skies.
Excellent.
Hang on for the ride Carver. You've already got 31 comments! Love the bridge shot. Just makes you want to follow it!
Very nice pictures for SWF.
Well done,
Greetings from NL
I love the perspective of the first shot, with the texture on the wooden walkway, and that beautiful blue sky.
Janice.
Very nice shot for SkyWatch Friday.
Pick a Peck of Pixels
What a nice way to circumnavigate the lake! Both beautiful shots.
I like the perspective on the first one & the calming blue of the sky is so soothing
ps, I got a blog award for you - here's the link:

I love the lake. I love the boardwalk. I love the blue sky. But that crepe myrtle is fantastic! What a specimen! (Mine isn't even 3 feet high and isn't blooming yet. I don't predict big things for it in my climate. It's pretty when it blooms, but it will never be as spectacular as yours.)
Carver: Both shots were truly beautiful, thanks so much for sharing.
Hi Carver, these are pretty spectacular photos. Thanks for sharing them and have a great weekend.
Nice, Carver. There's a nice contrast between the two photos.
This is the kind of blue skies that will entice me to walk. How lovely!
What a beautiful place!
