The ice cream stand is quaint or possibly Qtsy. Although cutesy is spelled with a c it sounds like Qtsy.
I've lived long enough for the signs of my youth to become quaint.
I remember when Esso signs were common before they were changed to Exxon in my part of the U.S. Now an Esso sign or an old RC Cola sign look quaint.

Q is for...
Your photos are very quaint!!
Quaint is a beautiful word and very romantic, I think! In my dictionary it has a lot of meanings.
Oh, you and me, Carver!!! Love the ice cream parlor and those old signs! Fun one for the Q Day! And have a great one -- Q Day, that is!
Sylvia
Great Q shots, love the Esso sign.
Yes, I'm way beyond Quaint. I'm an antiQue!
Great shots and I would love to go to that Qte ice cream shop.
It's funny how the ordinary things of life take on a different, more attractive patina as we grow older. I love the ice cream house and the signs are indeed quaint.
Love your quaint post and pics!
And I'm a quaint person too;o)

Happy ABC Wednesday****
Quaint indeed. I remember Esso.
ROG, ABC Wednesday
And now Esso is common in crosswords - very nice quaint shots!
Carver, I love the word Qtsy! May I use it?
I remember when Esso meant S.O. for Standard Oil.
I remember Royal Crown Cola, which became RC Cola, which didn't sound nearly as nice.
I think I'm becoming Quaint myself. I know I'm not as Quick as I used to be, nor as Qte.

Wonderful old signs, Carver. I also feel warm and cozy when I see quaint signs of my childhood. :)
Qtsy is my new favorite word! Delightful photos!!

May I join the crowd. I remember them all well.

Sings of the times speeding by I'd say. Happy WW
That brown thing, is it meant to be a big ice cream cone?
When I was youngm there was only Shell and Esso. and those days, they fill your gas and checked your water.
Great collection from old times, wonderful shots.
