Note - my Dona Nobis Pacem post is after this one.
Last week when we were almost home from a trip, I had to laugh at myself for continuing to snap photographs like crazy.
I couldn't resist because it was as if the sky was putting on a show to welcome me home.
The first shot was going over the bridge by the airport which is about 11 miles from my house and the second shot is about 10 miles from my house.
The shot above is about 6 miles from my house and the shot below is a little over 5 miles from my house.

Beautiful sky and welcome home, Carver!
I advocate always have a camera, and snap everything. Those skies really are a welcoming sight for the traveller.
Beautiful pictures and adorable clouds in your sky shot!
So nice that you are back!
Hugs

Hi Carver, I do like the shots from the road to home. Your header too is very beautiful with the tapestry of autumn colours.
Wonderful shots of the clouds. I enjoyed your globes.
You certainly do a better job of shooting out your windshield that I do....mine are always crooked. This series is so pretty. The fluffy bouncing clouds are so very inviting. Your ride home was a gorgeous one.
Lovely blue skies! I love drive-by shots!
s0rry seems to be the hardest w0rd
welcome home!
I was off blogging for weeks not even knowing you were off and now you're back home =)
Very tempting shots to set off on a picnic.
