ABC Wednesday: Y is for young

The photograph I use for my blogger profile picture is one taken when I was quite young.

carver as a child
The next photograph was taken, when I was a relatively young adult, by my husband a few years after we were married.

I am not so young anymore but I thought I'd end with a shot taken a year ago to show the woman behind the blog. As I have left my youth behind, there is clearly a lot more of me than there was when I was young.

Carver, girl...You are ADORABLE!
This post is a gift for your friends, thanks so much for sharing your pictures and memories.
Young is a perfect choice for this theme.
I think the secret of happiness is keeping this feeling, this kid inside our heart!
**and after some days out of home, now I need to come back to my laundry here...hehehe

How cool to see how you have changed over the years, Carver! But I suspect you still are YOUNG - at least you feel like inside. I know I do. :)

I love viewing pictures of us as we mature. You look great, and I think there is a lot more of all of us now than when we were teeny-boppers. I know for sure that is my case.

Which youth have you left behind?
Your far younger than me, so that means YOUNG :-)

Ah, lassie! Youth is only a state of mind....mind you, some days I feel not so young! lol

You still have the exact same smile you had as a child. Wonderful.

Oh to be young again. My Grandpa told me that youth was wasted on the young. To bad we can't have lived our youth with the life experience we have now.

Now I know what the adult Amy looks like! Oh, to be young again, huh? Although, I'd like to keep my wisdom.

Time has changed, but your smile has not.

I don't think you've changed much. That smile radiates through all three photographs!

Thanks to everyone for visiting. By the way, my first name is Carver. Amy isn't my name but I think someone went to the flicker sight and saw the last picture had Amy in the file name. The reason for that is someone I know named Amy wanted pictures of friends for a project so her name was in the file name for the picture.

Hi, Carver....You look perfect to me though I do LOVE that original photo. The dress reminds me of the ones I wore. It is so precious. I think you look great in all 3 shots. Aging is such a JOY! LOL Genie

What a great series of photos! Lovely to see you change from a very young girl to the woman you are today! And - clearly, with the benefit of hindsight - you of today can be seen in you of yesterday.

You photos remind me again of how much we change - in size and shape and certainly in maturity and wisdom; and how little we change - just look at the smile in the youngster and the exact same smile in the woman in her prime. Thanks for the view into your life and the reminder, Carver.
