That's My World Tuesday: Beautiful Day for Walking

This Sunday, Bill and I went on a walk around Shelley Lake in honor of a beautiful and warmer day.

There were signs of how cold it has been lately because the creek and part of the lake were frozen.

I've missed walking at the lake. I was waiting for the path to get a chance to melt from our last bought with freezing rain and sleet.

I'm glad I did wait since there were still patches of ice on parts of the path along the creek.

I try to go on photowalks at the lake during each of the seasons because I love to note the differences.

It's like going on a totally different walk depending on the time of year.

I am definitely someone who likes changes in the natural world. I need four distinct seasons with the periodic unseasonal days. We can have big changes in temperature during a given week.

Like you and the others, I do love having four seasons and the changes that come with them -- it's just that sometimes the winters are a little longer than I care for! Of course when I lived in Texas the summers were always longer than I cared for! But there's always beauty to be seen and enjoyed if you take the time. Have a wonderful week!
