ABC Wednesday: J is for Jars

I just can't seem to get rid of my surplus of jars.

Jars are jostling around in my cabinets.

I even have jars jockeying for a position on top of my cabinets.

You have some lovely glass items and it seems that the jars refuse to be excluded. I tend to be a jar saver, too, as you never know when one will be needed to contain some extra coins, jam or a collection of soaps or something. :)

No matter how hard I try to clean my jars out, I seem to collect more. :))

I have boxes full of jars in the store room...there may be a jam glut in the future so I really need all the jars...don't I?

Guilty!
I feel very wasteful when I throw jars out, even though I know they get recycled.
I like how your jars have found their proper place among the other glassware.

I give all my jars to my DIL who is a jam maker par excellence and young enough to cope with dozens and dozens of odd jars. Your jars look very nice nestled in amongst the glassware.

wonderful glass collection.

I love these photos. When I get inspired to put my jars in the recycle, I usually regret it later when I need one and they are gone! Fun take on J!

I always think I'm going to need them. I almost never do, but that 1 time out of 100 keeps them in stock.
I relate.

A few more and you'll need to leave the doors ajar.

Most of the houses are built around jars, I guess. I am so amazed it all sounds so familiar, all this distance not withstanding.

OOH you do have a lot of jars. I love collecting interesting jars, vases, glass, etc. My husband, however, just calls it 'junk'! LOL.

Have a great week!

I probably save one too many jars and it does get difficult trying to find them good homes!

Beautiful glass jars. I'm like that with boxes -- good strong boxes, not too large and with a fitted lids. Who knows what I might be able to use those for!

Some of those are too pretty to just be jars! They are vases in my book ;>)....they are among the things that just do seem to multiply, because "you never know when you'll need one."
