I'm going to include a smattering of shots I've taken over the past 6 days in the triangle area of North Carolina where I live.
There is a chance of snow early this week although I doubt it will amount to anything.
I feel like a broken record endlessly repeating myself but it's hard not to think about this bizarre winter which has been very mild and continues to have such huge temperature fluctuations.
I am trying to enjoy whatever each day brings as much as I can.
The shots above were taken on Tuesday in Durham, NC. The rest of the shots were taken in Raleigh, NC.
The birds are getting increasingly active and wake me up with their songs outside my window.
Some of my daffodils have been beat up pretty badly but even bowed I find them pretty.
I am grateful that in spite of how developed my part of the world has become it is still filled with lots of trees.
The carolina wren below was fun to watch hopping around on my deck wall.
The female cardinal was eating with her mouth open.
The squirrel arrived for the party.
Sunday began with and returned to gray skies but in between there was a few hours where it looked like streamers were tossed up in the air.
I think this kind of sky is fun to photograph and look at.
The American Robin was singing on a limb of one of my oak trees.
I think the little girl had spring fever. She was dancing in the street.

It looks like spring has arrived in North Carolina.
Oh, your daffodils are far more advanced than the ones in my front yard in Western BC. Right now the yellow tips are just starting to show. It’s a good thing because we had a little snowfall surprise recently. Your last photo of a child dancing on the street is a perfect way to express anticipation of spring. :)
Just a wonderful early spring collection! I'd be dancing in the street too.
Oh, how lovely with daffodils and gorgeous blue skies.
Wow, a lot to see here! Beautiful photos, I particularly like those showing the sky!
God bless you!

Wonderful shots. The chirping sound of birds does make the day really special.
You sure have spring!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
It does indeed look as though spring has arrive in NC! The weather has been so bizarre this year! I love your captures for the day, Carver! They are delightful and beautiful! Have a lovely week!

I love that streamer sky!
and you have daffs already - lucky you!
It has been a strange year. Now that my fruit trees have bloomed, I hope Winter doesn't decide to return (not that it ever really came).
Wonderful spring collection!
Looks like Spring is arriving ... especially with daffodils and dancing in the street!!!
Your shots from deep within this amazing state are really wonderful. So much spring! Those daffs blow me away. The only ones I have seen are in Food Lion!
Daffodils in any for or color is always an attraction to me too! Yes that kind of sky streaked with white clouds are fun to watch and capture:)!
I can't believe that your Daffodils are flowering already. Those gorgeous streaky skies and the birds are wonderful.
Beautiful and merry spring ... I do not know how to tell which shot is the best simple because I like all those posted by you. Right from the birds on tree-tops to the beautiful skies.
Regards,
Ruby

I agree with you. Being in Virginia just north of you we have had some crazy weather. So glad that spring will soon be here officially.
