When I drove up my driveway the other day and glanced at the side of my house, the blue sky was so vivid it made me pull out my camera.
The way the dogwoods branches mingle with the oak tree branches make it hard to tell where one starts and the other stops, although the dogwood is much shorter and smaller than the oak.
I have a cherry tree variety which has very small blossoms.
The dogwood on the left reaches across my driveway to the oak on the right.
Another intermingling between the dogwood and oak.
In the next shot my azalea is reaching up towards the oak trees.
The next shot is of my neighbor's pink dogwood tree.
The rufous-sided towhee below is singing in my pecan tree.
We've had some magnificent clouds lately.
The sunset below was accented with a lot of little clouds.
Another monster cloud against a vivid blue sky.
Below is a cloud around sunset time.

You take the most beautiful nature shots. Your skid, flowers, and just landscapes in general are always memorable. You really do have that magic touch and eye for just the right moment to push the shutter. genie
i didn't realize or see an azalea grow that big. so eye-catching. it looks like you have a fantastic garden. so relaxing to be driving up to your house and seeing all these cheerful blooms, just melts your stress away.
my bad, i didn't even pay attention to your sky. i just heart your flowers.

Wow....beautiful blooms. Lovely contrasts to the sky! Your garden is really wonderful.
The color of your skies are awesome! Such incredible blue! Wonderful contrasts and, of course, I love your beautiful flowers! What a glorious garden. Hope you have a great weekend, Carver!

Your spring yard blooms are still gorgeous!
The sky above your house was indeed a deep lovely blue.
All your spring blooms are so beautiful against the blue sky. Last year when we got back to Oregon there were still Dogwoods in bloom. I hope for that again.
That is a stunning deep blue sky! And all the flowering trees at your house and the neighborhood are just lovely. I love the dogwood blossoms. We have them here, too, in the northern California foothills. There's a saying here in the foothills, "Spring's not here until there's snow on the dogwoods." I think that means snow on the dogwood blossoms.
Wonderful shots. The flowery trees look great against the sky.
Love all these shots, you have some beautiful trees. I can't believe the dogwood is in flower already.
What gorgeous shots, Carver. From flowers to their varied colors, to the skies and everything in between, these are lovely.
Beutiful flowering trees and schrubs!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
You've made a wonderful spring post of it, Carver. It's great to see all the lovely flowers and the friendly blue sky.
Overhere we had the same weather during the last weeks, but since yesterday it's cloudy and much colder again.
