It is surprising how quickly the weather can go from blue with pretty clouds to all gray and hard rainfall.
The first part of this post is all sky shots taken from my windows and yard.
I love the tufts of cotton ball clouds scattered on blue skies.
The next shot is looking down to the bottom of the street I live on.
I'm looking forward to bare branches of winter although the colorful fall leaves will also be a treat.
I like all four seasons although I could do without the excessive heat of summer.
When I first spotted the cloud formation below I thought it looked like a dragon.
As it shifted I thought the dragon was closing his mouth.
I love the deep blue with the clouds in the next shot.
The rest of the shots were taken this Wednesday on the way to and from a meeting at work.
My intention was to only take shots when I was stopped at stoplights before and after the highway part of the driving.
I probably shouldn't admit that I clicked a few times when I was on the overpasses and highway when there weren't many cars around me.
I had my camera around my neck and I didn't try to compose the shots.
When I sneak shots when I'm driving it's always a quick click even at stop lights.
Even so there probably ought to be a law against photography while driving.
I didn't get the best shots of the sky because I noticed amazing textures at times I thought it to risky to get a shot.
I'm not totally irresponsible about it.
Every time I take pictures when I'm driving I think I probably shouldn't. Perhaps I won't do it any more considering how much I debate about whether it's safe even when being careful.

Different moments, but always with a beautiful sky! The second picture is awesome!
hugs and a nice day,

Great series of sky shots!
Lovely Blue :-)
Pixellicious Photos
Those blue skies look amazing!
I can see the dragon formation, too. It also looks like a big crocodile with open jaws to me. Sometimes the best clouds appear while driving … that really IS a dilemma when you want to capture the moment. With a camera around the neck and a random snap, you still managed to get some good shots!
always looking forward to a variety of skies you capture every week. you never disappoint.
Wonderful skies.
Carver!
Great, heavenly landscapes.
In your photos the sky is beautiful.

The skies this time of year are so everchanging. You've got many lovely ones!
I like the depth of that cotton ball one.
Would you believe I posted a dragon cloud too. :)
Wonderful shots. Some of cloud formations are real cool.
Beautiful blues!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
Such a wonderful variety of blue skies and lovely clouds, Carver! Hope you enjoy a beautiful weekend!
You caught some lovely skies!
My favourite is the sunset capture!! I love that golden sky!!
The dragon cloud is amazing! It really does look like it has its mouth open, and then closes it!!!
Fascinating variety of skies over different scenes! Especially love the romantic sky colours in the second photo!
Beautiful skies! I must admit guilt to taking a few shots from the drivers seat, but just with my iPhone, which is a little easier to handle while keeping two hands on the wheel!
Enjoying the changeable clouds!
Beautiful photographs, beautiful sky, such views are giving a lot of joy. I am greeting
Wonderful series again, Carver, I like those friendy blue skies with fluffy clouds. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your weekend.
Oh and eh ... sometimes I can't resist making a quick shot of the sky too ... ;-)
Gorgeous skies. The white cloud and the blue sky just compliment each other.
