ABC Wednesday: K is for kingfisher
I hear kingfishers a lot more often than I see them. But this was a rare case where it landed somewhere and posed for me.

Fantastic photograph, beautiful bird. I am greeting
I only recently met this bird through a blogpost, brilliant shot!
K is for...
splendid shot! I don't even know the kingfisher's call, nor have I ever seen one.
Wow! What a spot to perch.
Welcome to Carver!
Fantastic picture. You have a great eye. Saw high bird.

Oh, you were lucky that he was so accommodating, and clever of you to seize the opportunity.
Wow! Great shot of the Kingfisher and for 'K" ~ ^_^
I love that bird's sense of klass!

I used to see Kingfishers here, but no more. I hope they have just moved farther up the creek away from people and not left the area completely.
Great photo!

Seems the kingfisher found the perfect spot at the perfect time. great capture!
They are difficult to capture on camera, nice shot!
A rare picture indeed, and a lovely bird.
What a captivating (or should I say Kaptivating) sight! Lovely composition.
I've been trying forever to get a picture of a Kingfisher, one of my fav birds. We see them in Oregon and here and in places between. I see them sitting still like yours is when we're driving by or when I'm walking down a road. They don't move a whisker until I bring my camera up to my face and then whoosh!!! So I'm a bit envious, but still grateful!
Lovely bird. I have never seen one. I'm glad he landed near you this time. I'm going to check out What's That Bird to listen to its call.
Carver!
You, my friend, are one
great reason to celebrate
this Easter season.
Wishing you an Easter that's
as special as can be.

Kestrel, Kingfisher, and the little bird I posted all start with K!
Pretty kool!
What a great shot.
