ABC Wednesday: K is for kingfisher

I hear kingfishers a lot more often than I see them. But this was a rare case where it landed somewhere and posed for me.

I see them sitting still like yours is when we're driving by or when I'm walking down a road. They don't move a whisker until I bring my camera up to my face and then whoosh!!!
