Hi Carver thanks for your visit to my post. Is that whitish island on your post still ice on the water?

Welcome to Carver!
Great picture.
For me, a lot of birds already flew to the South to the warm countries.
I send greetings.

Nice -- I've tried to get pix of kildeers all summer (they like it here at the Lake) but they run every time I take my camera out.

I am really fond of the Killdeer, - they are so common on the meadow, and so vigilant about looking after their nests and young ones.

Well, that's what I wish I was doing now too.
The lake is calling me.
Great picture of the Killdeer. I love watching them strut as they walk.

We used to see killdeer all the time where I grew up. It was one of the first birds I learned to identify.

Great photo of fascinating birds. Kildeers here run around so fast it is hard to get a clear photo.
Have a wonderful day!

Carver, I think you need to develop this one and hang it in your home. There is something about it that is sososo appealing. Fabulous piece of artistic photography. genie
