When I got closer I wasn't sure what the game was but it definitely wasn't hopscotch.
The first two shots are from last week and are only a small portion of the drawings I spotted along the sidewalk.
The third through last shots were taken this Monday and this group looked like perhaps they were playing a safety game.
The children and parents weren't outside when I spotted these sidewalk games so your guess is as good as mine as to what game, if any, they were playing.

Unfortunately we don't have sidewalks out here where we live...unless of course, we head into the nearby town for groceries! Great pix of imaginations at use!...:)JP
Another great sign of spring - chalk pictures!
As a child I used to love drawing on the sidewalk.
The nice thing was it could be washed off and begun again.
Creative post for the letter G and creativity on the sidewalk with that chalk!
so wonderful to see kids displaying their creativity for all to see and enjoy.
frankly my dear.
Makes me happy to know kids still enjoy the old-fashioned pleasures that don't involve computers or hand-helds.
You have a nice little group of creative children around in your vicinity. Lovely to see.
I LOVED marking sidewalks with chalk as a kid!

Maybe they were just having fun reinforcing what they've been learning at school. It's a great way for kids to visualize discussions from school. Lots of great artwork there.

I see a lot of these kind of games on our neighborhood driveways, rarely on the sidewalks lately.
Isn't that fun! All the best and good news with your health!

I think it's great they are thinking about stop signs and being careful around traffic. Pretty good artwork.

You have some talented children in your neighborhood, based on this charming chalk drawings. I'm especially impressed by the Fire engine. Blessings!
Lovely take!
Possibly children preparing for the driver's licence ;)
Love the way they did it.
Very beautiful in fact it makes me happy to see such cute little drawings. :)
You have clever eyes! These pictures are spectacular! They remind me my childhood as well, I used to draw like that! :)

It's an interesting game that's certain! But what it is?? I really don't know. Try Face Book.

This is so curious and tantalising! I love how you've captured the little artists' work.
Drawing with chalk was always a favorite of mine when I was a kid. Maybe these kids were playing a street traffic game, because they can't wait to grow up and drive their own cars. ;)
Very creative! Good idea:)
