There are more and more signs of spring although we're still having cold weather off and on.
We've had our share of gray days but when the sun is out I love catching the early flowers against blue.
A few daffodils are blooming although most are at the bud stage.
Whenever I spot a tree beginning to flower I take a shot.
I was struck by how some of the flowering trees complemented the door or siding color.
Yellow flowers brighten my mood.
Some of the flowers have a short bloom this time of the year because of frost damage.
New buds hold a promise for later.
This driveway will soon have daffodils brightening the entrance to the corner stores.
In spite of freeze damage I think the camellias have their own beauty.
They seem determined to bloom no matter what.
I love the way tiny flowers dot the sky.
The Japanese Magnolia is starting to show more color.
We call these trees Tulip Trees where I live but that common name is used for other trees in different places.
I don't know what the tree below is.

It is going to be very colorful again.
Thank you for the daffys! Makes me smile to see them. And all the spring buds remind me of Oregon.
Wonderful signs!
So lovely! Great signs that spring is making its way north. ;)
It is heartwarming to see your spring photos. We're still so cold.

We had to read the poem on daffodils in school, but I have never seen them. They are so beautiful. No wonder they inspired Wordsworth.
Wonderful! It's still too cold for anything to grow here although the snow is mostlt gone now.
Lovely signs of spring Carver. Thanks for sharing them, it is lovely to see the color.
Fabulous early spring captures of some lovely blossoms! How gorgeous it is all going to look soon bursting with color to reward all who waited through the cold and dreary winter! Right now they look like Japanese watercolors, brushstrokes of gracefulness and sweet opening buds!
I am jealous the daffs are making their appearance, we are still more than a month away up here in zone 3.
Wonderful shots ... we´re not yet there, but the sping will come :)
