Ha! So you caught the little villain on camera. fun shot...
Haha. Busted! Great shot!
I love pecans so I'm with the squirrel on that one. That said I've never actually seen a pecan tree before. Thanks!
When I was a kid, we lived in a subdivision that had once been a pecan orchard, so everybody had pecan trees in the yard. We had two ginormous ones and my dad would pay me and my kid brother a quarter for every brown paper grocery sack we could fill with them. We never got rich in the deal, but you get the idea -- we're talking about a metric buttload of pecans here. Enough to share with every squirrel in town. Fast forward 30 years to the smallish pear tree I had in my yard, and the squirrels were not nearly so giving. Before the fruit could get beyond the hard-as-a-brick, golf ball size stage, the little b*st*rds would strip the whole tree bare.
I guess he just can't wait, kind of like a little kid.....they are there so why not have a party! Happy tuesday
I love pecans! I have only seen the roasted ones. They grow on a tree!! hehe....

Thanks so much to everyone for visiting my WW post.
Never saw a pecan tree before. Wow! I have two maple trees in my backyard and our squirrel loves its seats :o)
I hope he doesnt get a tummy ache ...
:-Daryl
Pecans! Yum! Unlike the squirrel, I shall ask: May I have enough to make a pie of I promise to share back?
Not sure that that little guy will actually share his harvest! Perhaps . . . if he just happens to drop one on the ground!
Hmm. I might start looking for a good recipe for baked squirrel encrusted with pecans.
Oh no! He resembles the naughty little rodents that keep stealing my hickory nuts!!!
Great photo!!!!
Happy WW!
Inspecting the crop? Very cute for WW.
Wow ! I want some !!
Thanks so much to everyone for visiting my WW post. I enjoyed your comments.
How cute! Well framed image.
Thanks for stopping by my quilt barns.
What a sweet little squirrel. I have one about that size who hangs out around my house. I love your bird in the post below and last week's skywatch which I didn't get to until now.
