Magic! I'm expecting Glinda the Good to burst out of there!
Wonderful shot. Great SWF Post. Have a great weekend.
Carver: Nice capture of the full Moon over the trees.
Funny thing... I've spent three nights this week getting the near-full and full moon committed to pixels.
Mine'll be out on Halloween (which, happily, is on Sky Watch Friday this year!)
Nice capture of a daytime full moon... you don't get very long to get those.
That is simply amazing,Carver! WOW!Mine is posted HERE. Happy SWF!~
That is really nice.
Marnie
The full moon was wonderful this week, wasn't it? Happy Sky Watch!
You certainly captured the moon Carver
Wow! Fabulous shot!
The moon doesn't want to go home and rest. Lovely shot.
Beautiful moon!
I have just left one kind of moonshot and here is a different take. Fascinating.
By golly, we were looking at the same moon! It was so striking.....
Lovely. Those big pictures are very dramatic.
Magic moon! So big! Beautiful.
Outstanding... what a humongous moon!! How cool is that!? Great picture!

What a great fall shot with the changing leaves and the morning moon!!
That is so neat to find the sun during daylight, isn't it? I like that you can identify parts of the moon from your photo. Nicely done.
Oh man that is just great! Love the daytime capture of that big full moon.
I love daytime moon photos. Very good, thanks.
Ray
Carver, that's awesome. The moon by day always seems so powerful and you've captured it well.
Great moon, it must be close to Halloween.
Beautiful round moon you've captured Carver! :)
Carver, I don't think you meant to call me Sandy, I'm maryt/theteach! :)
awesome shot!!!!!! Happy SWF!
The moon setting... Awesome!
I am too busy in the mornings to observe such moments. Great shot!
Well captured, not easy to get a good shot like this.
We get the same word for it ; EVANESCENT.
Its transparency makes the moon so delicate.
Très belle photo.
Thanks so much to everyone for visiting.
Mary I had a brain blip when I called you Sandy on your blog. I knew you were Mary but I messed up, oops.
I love 'catching' the moon in the daytime ..good shot!
:-Daryl
It looks like a soap bubble!
We had the same kind of sky this morning but I couldn't find a safe place to park my car to capture it.
Beautiful.
There is same moon in Finland two days or maybe nights ago. ;-)
Ok, now I know where it was going from here! I was wondering... well, go yourself and see! ;)
Oh, just lovely, the soft moon with the autumn leaves and gorgeous blue sky! Happy SkyWatching!
Greetings from Iowa.
