Monochrome Monday: St. Francis wearing cap and stole

I couldn't decide between the head shot and the full body shot so I decided to show both.

What amazed me is how perfectly the snow melted to form the cap and stole. The shot below is a color one when St. Francis almost had a top hat. I didn't touch the snow at all. This is how it fell.

Incredible Nature creation, Carver ! I think I prefer it in B&W. Hermine imitation ?
Well done.

Great shots, Carver! St. Francis will stay warm even in the freezing snow! :) My MM will be up on Wednesday.

Can't help thinking there should be birds gathered around him.

That couldn't have been put on any better if you put it on yourself! Great shot!

How utterly serendipitous. You couldn't have planned that better if you'd tried.

Looks like he's wearing a mink stole and matching hat :-) Prefer the B&W for sure...

Oh wow! How cool is that!

Looks like your statuary holds up better than mine in any case!

Cool capture (literally and figuratively!)

Fabulous and I think, for what that's worth, the mono is much more involving ...
