I love how the least horizontal space has snow on it. Gorgeous sky behind all of that, too!
You perfectly captured the beauty of winter, well done.
Cheers!

I quite agree with your title - that's the way to do it!
Love this tree and the blue blue sky. Is it the small cones I see on the branches? so nice!

Another card in the making here Carver.
Truly beautiful snap, composition is great.
Hey, I recognize that snow! I noticed that it was easy to tell which way the wind was blowing at my house by looking at the trunks of the trees. They were caked on one side all the way up.
Nice shooting, and it's good you got it when you did!
Lovely shot.
Let the picture do the talking.
Wonderful picture. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful winter picture!
Lovely photo, Carver. The little snow clumps look like blossoms on the tree.
Beautiful blue backdrop for the puffs of white and branches. A fairyland!
Love the blue skies behind the snow dappled trees! Just gorgeous! Thanks for sharing, have a great weekend!
Wonderful. :)
I like the the look of the clear blue sky against the snow covered branches.
That is FANTASTIC! The little bits of snow clinging to the branches is beautiful against that blue sky. A wonderful photograph, Carver!
(Hug)
The snow almost looks like flowers. Terrific capture. I love the blue and white. Awesome!
It does look like snow buds. So delictae.
This is very sweetly done. It makes winter look tolerable. Happy SWF!
The snow lingering on the tree branches is a beautiful sight. Though probably cold, it's the kind of shot that one will love to have a hot cup of cocoa while admiring them :)
Happy Weekend Carver!!! {HUGS}
I love those cotton balls of snow against that blue sky.
Very pretty, the colors are so crisp
Great photo - the blue sky is a perfect background to the tree and snow.
Very nice one, with the snow on the trees and the blue sky at the bachground.
The picture of the squirrels is very amusing :-))
Looks like little cotton balls are growing on the tree! lol Beautiful shot.
The snow, the trees and the bleu sky, a perfect combination!
Great!

P-TER
Cotton balls on a tree against the deep blue sky. It sounds like a poem. Great Sky Watch, Carver.
that is so neat, you would think it was a lovely warm day.....until you see the snow.

Carver, this is a beautiful shot. The snow in the top of that tree looked like cotton as it was opening up before I could see the whole picture. :)
Thanks so much for stopping by our little Sky Photo meme today. You can come back and sign Mr Linky if you want. No rules here...just post a shot of the sky and you're in. We don't care what else you've got, paid links or not. That is why this meme was created, for ALL to share. We won't hold it against you that you've got that other logo on your blog. *grin*. You're welcome to join us, any time!!! We just like to look at the sky! :)
I love the framing! I always love looking at the bare tree branches taking on a 'coat' of snow.
This looks like my world as well.
Is that a cotton tree Teehee
Carver, very interesting how the snow collected on the branches! :)
Beautiful colored.
I know some of y'all might be really tired of your snow just about now but for us who rarely see it in person it's such a glorious sight! Beautiful photo Carver!
very pretty
the snow against the sky is perfect
It almost looks like snow "blooms" in the way the white is clumped on the end of the branches. Winter appears to be mimicking spring, or looking forward to it.
Carver: We get that snow in the trees but not often that blue sky.
The contrast against the blue sky is stunning the snow makes it extra special.
Frozen cotton on the trees...lovely.
This is a Whoa shot!! ;)
Snow always looks so great against the bright blue sky. I like that the snow almost looks like flowers on the branches.
It looks like there is cotton growing on the branches. Beauti-mous.
