SkyWatch Friday: Japanese Maple looked like spring fire on Monday

For a few weeks in the spring, my neighbor's Japanese maple looks like fire to me. I liked the way it looked on Monday against the cloudy sky.

That is gorgeous, dark red against the sky.
I can't wait for things to start blooming here in Utah.

I doubt there could be a much better sky for the backdrop of these trees. What a beautiful capture!

Hey Carver. Can't figure out why spring in Chapel Hill is ahead of us in Greensboro. If you get a chance to log on and see our sky from Sunday, let me know if yours was the same way!!!

They are spectacular trees ... and turn color at the wrong time of year (it must be a time change thing!!)

A perfect Blue White Red sky, the colors of many flags.
Nature seems early compared to ours.
