I took this shot in Linville Falls, NC last fall. Linville Falls is in the NC mountains and is about 3 hour's by car from where I live. Living in the central part of the state it's an easy drive to the mountains in the western part of the state, or to the beach on the eastern part of the state.

What a gorgeous gorge and waterfall. Not bad for NC, where I always think of things as soft and rolling. Great capture.
