I know I've done other my world posts with the greenway trails and lake near my house. I've also done other my world posts with the seasons.
Therefore, I guess this may be somewhat redundant but I thought I'd use photographs I haven't posted to take you on a walk through the seasons.
The first photograph was taken a few weeks ago at Shelley Lake (central NC where I live). The second one was taken at the same place in January. The shot below was taken at the same place in November.
My final shot was taken on one of the wooded trails following the creek away from the lake. I shot this one in early summer of 2008. I enjoy the dirt trails away from the main traffic the most.

Photographs as beautiful as these shouldn't be kept sitting in the archives. Thank you for showing them to us.
Oh, Carver, I couldn't agree more with ewok1993! Your photos are exquisite! What a lovely and beautiful place -- in all seasons! Thanks so much for sharing them!

The sequence certainly highlights the changes over time. Beautiful stuff. What a lake, Carver.
That was so enjoyable, I wish I was there for real!
I totally agree with ewok about not letting the virtual dust gather on these archives. Such constant beauty.

Certainly a lake for all seasons.
Really beautiful, but the seasons don't change that much in NC - it still remains green and the lake blue.
Lovely shots and a beautiful place to be !!
I love the way you've captured the changing seasons ...

Those clouds floating through the sky... Gorgeous! Thanks for the lovely photo trip!
The post is cool. I love the view. I think even you posted similar view, people who visit your site still enjoys it.
By the way, I like to thank you for visiting my monochrome entry last May 3, this is the only time I visit your site due to hectic schedule...c",)
Very beautiful scenic spot. The snaps have very well captured the seasonal changes in the nature. Fantastic snaps.
Beautiful shots. I love the third one for the great reflections, but I'd probably prefer to walk along the trail in the last shot.
What a beautiful world around you. All the shots are wonderful. The last makes me want to walk right into those woods.
Hugs and blessings,
