Winter may not be over yet in my world but spring is beginning to whisper.
Even the birds are beginning to seem busier and out longer during the day.
Some years the trees bud out too soon and even leaf out to get zapped by the cold.
So far the early signs of spring are slow enough to bode well for the growing season without getting too far ahead of itself.

My sweet friend Carver,
This post is really adorable, wonderful sign of Spring, and that bird is peaceful posing for your camera, like saying "hello Carver, Spring is coming and all colours to brighten your day!"
Cute post!
hugs
Léia
Oh I am so jealous ... nothing here is budding ... but we are now due rain not snow for the rest of this week which I think is a very good thing!
oh we're also on our way to glorious spring. glad to see your surrounding is filled with budding possibilities :D
Carver: Fun captures of such a beautiful look at spring budding.
Very lovely shots. Sure sign of springs.
Oh, isn't it wonderful to see little buds peeking out of trees and bushes!! Yes, spring is one it's way at last! We've had beautiful here for the past few days and mild temps. The rain is supposed to return tomorrow for the rest of the week, but what a lovely break it's been!! Have a great week, Carver!!
Sylvia
Great Spring colors in your photos.
Excellent work!!!
So lovely - like a breath of fresh air. We're seeing more active birds, but no buds as yet. Plus, it's been snowing all day, so I think it's safe to say we have a few more weeks of winter here. I'll enjoy your earlier season vicariously.
Lovely piccies and I so wish I could say the same!
Your photographs are going to be full of flowers soon. :)
Oh how beautiful! I can't wait to start to see signs of spring around here again!
If spring is arriving for you then autumn can't be far for us.

Ah, that's so wonderful to see Spring coming :D
Sparrows over here already have their first Babes, crazy, no?
Why did it take me so long anyway to get to this blog of yours?
*shakes head*
:)
You have spring already? It's freezing here in Vegas.
Beautiful photos.
Your post today is eye candy to those of us who are winter weary. I think I can see a hint of buds on the trees nearby! But it's too cold to go out and investigate. And, I don't want to be disappointed. Admittedly, it IS a little early! Thanks for the lift. ~karen
A post of fresh buds---just what the doctor ordered for the winter doldrums. Thanks!
Positive signs are here. The world is gearing up for blooms and bright days ahead. Wonderful.
Very well captured!
No signs of spring at my place, snow is falling outside like it has the last days :)
i'm so happy for this spring...i even have my own "bloom"
Beautiful signs of spring from your world ... love those buds against the clear blue skies ;-)
Hugs and blessings,
