Focusing on foggy, fall, frosty and frozen images. The formidable heat of August has me falling into a sweaty heap when I'm outside. Nice to remember that fall is coming soon, followed by winter.
I love foggy days as long as I don't have to drive far from home. I particularly love fall leaves both on the trees and after they have fallen to form a carpet on the ground.
Sugar frosted leaves are one of the pleasures of fall and winter.
I also like going on a brisk walk in frigid weather. The last shot is from last winter when the lake was frozen and the seagull flew freely above it.
For anyone who hasn't figured it out yet, I am not a summer person at this point in my life. I do not care for the heat and humidity and am glad that I'll be rescued by fall. For other takes on the letter F, please visit the home of ABC Wednesday.

Wonderful set of pictures, very creative idea! :)

You would love working in my office, its so cold (ALL YEAR ROUND) that I always have a wool sweater and/or a pashmina to wrap myself in ...
A ot of F in here, love them all!
m not a summer person either Carver.. and ur winter pictures are absolutely beautiful.. have a gr8 week ahead :)
My ABC Wednesday Post
We are at the end of August, and autumn will soon be upon us - you have shown us what to look out for.
Each season has its fine points. I too love fall, but we don't have the seasons like you do.
I really like the focus of your first (foto) with the tree standing out against the foggy background.
Beautiful Fall Fotos.
My favorite season is spring. Summer is SO exhausting. But I like autumn also, so crisp and delicious.
That's exactly why I love living in the northwest!! I grew up in Texas and I hate the heat! Terrific post for the F Day! Hang on! Fall is coming!! Have a cool week, Carver!
Sylvia
I like falling leaves - when I don't have to rake them!
On behalf of ABC Wednesday team, thank you! - ROG
Your photos are beautiful and your "f's" very refreshing. Fall will come hopefully sooner rather than later - today is supposed to be 108 degrees, and needless to say, I'm holed up!
Fabulous fall foliage featured here my friend.
I'm not much of a summer lover either.
Stunning shots of the fall and frigid weather. Fall is my favourite time of year - not too hot, not too cold. :D
I love the Fall, but am not a lover of Winter. Your pictures a lovely. We are having splendid weather here this week, warm but not hot and humid.
You've done a great job with your F post. Love this one! Beautiful F words and photos. I love winter, too.
Wishing you a fabulous week.
Beautiful images. I love the fall photos, also my favorite season. Great choice for today.
I noticed autumn in the air today. Excellent photos.
Your pictures are just marvelous and the thought behind all those wonder F's appeals to me too, - September, how I love you!!!
That is so not nice of you. I know the weather hasn't been too great today (at least in the Netherlands), but giving us frosty leaves? That's a bit much in August! :)
You convinced me that you're a fall person ( or even a fanatic about cooler weather or frigid weather). I must admit to lamenting the cooler nights and the thought of fall around the corner.

I love fall too. It's my favorite and I often wonder why folks rake all those pretty leaves off their lawns. They're so pretty resting there.
You almost convinced me that frosty, foggy, fall is a good thing - but not quite! :) I just live for summer. Good post - beautiful photos!
Wow! Stunning pictures!
awesome places.... love them all especially the fallen fiery leaves...

I enjoyed your "frigid" photo, since we are having 104 degrees today in Southern CA.
Very beautiful pictures.
after having seen you pictures I feel cold now ! I don't like automn, lol !
I also like foggy and frosty days! Your photos are so beautiful!
Thanks for your visit.
You have described my country to a T. In one of the cities, they had 2 days of sun shine.
It was rain rain rain today, and fog fog fog.
I don't like it.
Same here, never seen what all the fuss about summer was. I have always loved autumn mists and dappled light of woods. It's all the mood of fruitful reflection I like that you have caught in your photos. I'm new in town and I post from various blogs so last week my E was a 50-word story called The Prince of Darkness is a gentleman. This week my F is a poem called The final seaside trip. I hope you have a good week!
Oh, I am SO with you on not being a fan of Summer! These pictures are so refreshingly free! I wish we had more seasons though here in So. Cal! Thank you for the mini-vacation :)
uh oh....I think you are SICK of summer! These images will be reality before too long! Simply beautiful!
Even though I'm a summery sort, I can still appreciate the F images you chose to share.
What a riot of color that leaves make! Loved it.
Lovely fall-f-words and beautiful images!
Best wishes,
Anna

I'm the same way. I hate it when it's hot and humid. Oh how I look forward to Fall and Winter.
Your pictures give me hope for cooler times.
p.s. thanks for the very nice comments and it's my pleasure to host Weekend Reflections. :)
