I attended a classic car show which I blogged about in another post but I saved this rusty old Buick for black and white. It was nice to see an old car, amongst the shiny restorations, that was rusty and showing its age.
For other black and white photographs, please visit the home of The Weekend in Black and White.

Wonderful picture and I like your idea of B&W.
Happy weekend dear Carver!

Rusty junk makes the best photographs! But I suspect this old guy won't stay in this shape for long. Looks like the new life is about to begin. Or has already begun.
It seems to be attracting attention, so I think Mojo must be right.
Very attractive indeed!

But, what is it? Not that I know much about old cars,
but I do remember names! Its interior workings look
wonderfully simple- easier to fix than cars needing fixing today! The composition is great!
Thanks for visiting and to answer the question it's a Buick Eight. My guess is late 1940s or early 1950s but not sure as I didn't pay that much attention to the info at the car show.
Great subject for B&W. Hope someone can save the old girl.
We have the technology to bring it back! Neat shot.
Vintage but still beautiful...look at those people being attracted to its beauty :)
This is cool ! and I love it : )

SO perfect for the b&w...great thinking there!
Cool shot and perfect for black and white.
Ah but the grill work looks fantastic...lookin' good, you old Buick!
So glad to be back after the extended stay in the real world..so glad to see you here waiting for me!

I love it exactly because it's rusty!
Kisses!
