Our World Tuesday: Another Week Another Sunday Walk

I am probably getting rather boring featuring a walk around the same old lake that I tend to feature a lot, but even a week makes a difference in how it looks this time of the year.

Before too long the only trees with leaves remaining will be the evergreens.

This year has seemed to have a longer period of fall foliage than usual although with dropping temperatures it has accelerated lately.

I'm surprised there haven't been more people walking at the lake on the pretty weekend days.

I prefer walking in cooler weather but that may not be for everyone as there are usually a lot more people walking at this lake when it's warmer.

My attitude is you can always add layers of clothes when it's cold but there is just so much you can take off when it's hot.

It is harder to get out of bed though when it's cold as it feels so good burrowing down under the covers.

Lovely autumn captures, Carver! Like you, I also have a park I never tire of visiting and notice something new each time I walk through. The bird on the post makes an interesting picture. It is almost as if it is searching for its reflection in the water but is looking in the wrong direction and confused as to where it could be. :)

Oh lordy so much beauty. If I go on a walk with you here, it would take a whole day - I'd be stopping constantly to take a shot.

Hope your weekend was wonderful. It's a short work week so enjoy.

Well, Carver, I'm not bored at all! I like seeing how the area you hike changes from week to week. And I really like those warm yellow leaves.

Love the beautiful shots of the colors. We don't really get to see fall trees down here in central Florida. I really miss them.

I never get tired of wonderful Autumn images! We don't get a lot of color change down here on the Gulf Coast, so I depend on wonderful people like you to give me my FALL FIX! Walk on!

Such a beautiful walk, always.
I love the bird on the post in the water. Is that a cormorant? I can't quite decide.

That's a beautiful lake, I won't get tired of seeing it. I also prefer cooler weather, although I have the option of going up in altitude when it's really hot.

Hahaha! If I was there hiking, I will be left behind the rest of the hikers. I will spend a lot of time enjoying the scenery and will be taking lots of photos!

Gorgeous fall foliage!

Beautiful my dear. I would love to walk with you around your lake with all those differently coloured leaves.
Is that gannet on the post? Unfortunately all my international birdbook went as well when we lost our house to fire many years ago, so I can't verify that.
Just look up gannet on the net and see it you can match it.

Beautiful pictures and lovely Fall colors. I never get tired of different views of the same walk (but you probably knew that already).
