Lantana attracts lovers that let loose their wings and engage in a lovely dance. I have photographed butterflies climbing on each other but didn't look too hard for those shots as they as they make me seem like a little too much of a voyeur.

LLLove this post! I remember the first time I saw lantana -- in Texas the first winter we spent there.
That is so beautiful - the flower, the delicate butterfly and of course that happy light! LOVELY L. (I also recall a movie called Lantana a while back...)
fantastic capture of the flowers "invaded" by the wonderful butterflies! I had two butterfly bushes in the country; enjoyed how it drew butterflies to our yard.
When I first saw this I wondered how you could have Lantana NOW...then I read your post. :) Very pretty reminder of what's yet to come.

I took photos of my lantana, did a post quite a while back. Lantana doesn't have a good reputation in South East Asia, it has a bad name, came Chicken shit flower because of the smell.

I love Lantana and the butterfly's it draws. I also used to live in a small town called Lantana, I liked the whole idea of it, and planted Lantana for the butterflies, then joked about my Lantana in Lantana!
