Our World Tuesday: Bathing Beauties

The shots in this post were taken during the last week of August and first day of September on my deck.

The American Robin above was enjoying a bath while the bluejay below was considering one.

The transitional male cardinal was strutting around the deck.

The male rufous-sided towhee was splashing up a storm.

The female rufous-sided towhee was all fluffed out.

I like the way the catbird's beak shadow showed up.

The adult male cardinal and the immature female cardinal seemed pretty cozy.

The next female cardinal still has a tough of gray in her beak but she looks close to adulthood.

The mourning dove and the fish make a good pair.

The carolina wren is drying off.

The juvenile American Robin is considering a bath.

Last but not least is a carolina chickadee.
