Monochrome Monday: A monochrome day

I took this photograph a few days ago when the world was monochrome. I shot in full color and didn't change the shot at all once I downloaded it on my computer other than to crop it slightly.

That makes it a 'found' monochrome - and very nice too.

Yep. And you could've shot it again today too. Nasty out right now.

Your world is as grey as mine, so.
But, is still beautiful, nevertheless.
It's very rare to be able to present a picture entirely Monochrome without changing one detail.

Some days are just like that, aren't they? But it is a wonderful shot.

We have plenty of those as well and indeed most of today. The wind was howling here though and that made the day a little more than b&w.

Very familair looking day. I call this Bridtish weather day, overcast but for monochrome it always has atmosphere.

Nice one. We had days of that awful grayness as well but the sun is finally peaking through a bit today.

It's amazing just how monochrome nature can be, on times. Nice shot!

I've just posted my second Monochrome Monday post ever, and it's a natural monochrome again. Can't wait for spring to arrive with a clear blue sky and sunshine, but then we have to rely on the clever things we can do with the computer to make a monochrome. Ah well....;-)

I just love tree tops, branches reaching up to touch the clouds

Love fine detail of the branches in silhouette! Stunning against the grey sky!
