The monochrome shot is fairly true to nature as it was a monochrome day. That didn't stop the birds from partying. For more participants, please visit the home of Monochrome Monday.

Great silhouette against the indifferent sky. Very pleasing.
Yes, Carver, I imagine their song which reminds us Spring despite the grey weather.
I bet they can keep up an all-night celebration! Well caught.
I love to see and hear birds having a party...
I agree with Aileni...very pleasing.
Ooohh, do I see definite signs of spring there? Lovely shot.
The birds do know it's spring! Looks like your weather is very similar to ours today!
Birds are so funny when they're partying - especially small birds since they're loud! All involved in their own minute squabbles.
A very natural image and the title made me smile. We provide the food they supply the atmosphere.
I have noticed the birds here just love the cooler snowy weather and will hop around from branch to branch singing up quite a storm!!
Your photo is beautiful!
I love bird shots! Great!
Wow! So many of them having "illegal" gathering. ;p.
Starting already for the big week ahead? Lol.Hope you'll have a great week too!
Don't you just love it when nature cooperates so well! Lovely shot indeed.
Wonderful silhouette effect here, Carver! Might as well party, eh?
Well, we're giving monochrome monday a try! What is your secret to getting so many bird photos? Seems we can't get near them!
Looks like a full on gossip fest is in session.
Perfect .. and the buds on the tree are opening .. I went out in the mist/rain to capture the tree buds yesterday ...
What a feast! =) Beautiful photo!
I wonder what the birds were singing. Very nice photo, loved that tree.
Nice shot, i love looking at the birds in the trees and they look great in mono.
A perfecyt subject for B&W. Love it.
